Charissa Thompson born May 4, 1982 in Seattle Washington United States is one of America's most famous and wealthy Sportscasters. ESPN analyst, hired in 2012 to co-host SportsNation. She was also co-host of the ABC show Splash along with Joey Lawrence. Thompson is a native of Seattle Washington. She was the youngest child of three, and realized at a young age she wanted to be a journalist. Thompson graduated from Inglemoor High School located in Kenmore Washington. Thompson left Washington for California for the purpose of enrolment at one of the colleges for community students. She also gained California residency. She then moved her studies to University of California Santa Barbara. in Law and Society in 2004. Thompson explained that, while Sports Illustrated stated she attended UC Santa Barbara before transferring from UC Santa Barbara to a California Community College, she was not enrolled at Washington State. Thompson who was a former sports journalist for Sports Illustrated, received an email offering to have her body painted and be featured in the Swimsuit Edition.
