Heidi Klum is a German model born on 1st June, 1973. Erna Her mother was a stylist. Gunther Klim his father was executive of a cosmetics firm. Heidi's father was previously an executive producer at 4711, a company that made perfume. She grew up in her hometown that is Bergisch Gladbach a city of around 100,000 people just 6 miles from Cologne. The German-American former fashion model has become a TV host and producer, fashion designer, business woman, and actress who lives and works in both the southern part of California as well as Germany. Karin, a friend of Klum's (18-year-old) student encouraged her to take part in the German TV talent competition called Model 92. The German women's magazine Petra was the sponsor of this show in conjunction with Thomas Gottschalk's talk show. Klum battled 25,000 competitors in Germany, Europe and beyond until she was in the top three. In April of 1992, she won the top prize of $300,000.
